Connecting Classrooms to Careers
The Nampa Chamber’s Business & Education Committee is dedicated to closing the gap between education and workforce. This collaborative group brings together leaders from business, K–12 education, and higher education to ensure our students are career-ready and our local industries have the talent they need to thrive.
With strong ties to the Nampa and Vallivue School Districts' Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs, as well as partnerships with College of Western Idaho and Northwest Nazarene University, this committee helps educators understand the evolving needs of local employers—and helps businesses connect with the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
What We Do
Foster communication between business leaders and educators
Support career exploration and real-world experiences for students
Connect employers to apprenticeship and internship opportunities
Highlight local workforce development pathways
Plan and host the Business & Education Forum at the Nampa Chamber’s March Luncheon
