Chamber Hall

Purpose

The Nampa Chamber’s Tourism Committee brings together key community partners to help shape, support, and strengthen Nampa’s presence as a destination for visitors, events, and experiences. This committee plays an essential role in ensuring tourism-related initiatives — especially those supported by Idaho Travel Council grant funding — are aligned, effective, and collaborative.

Who's Involved

Committee members represent a cross-section of Nampa’s tourism ecosystem, including local hotels, event venues, city leadership, and regional attractions. Regular participants include representatives from the Ford Idaho Center, Snake River Stampede, the City of Nampa, and other hospitality and event partners.

Focus Areas

  • Strategic use of Idaho Travel Council grant funds

  • Promotion of Nampa’s assets to leisure and business travelers

  • Coordination on major events, festivals, and tourism-driving activities

  • Sharing updates, trends, and opportunities in the local tourism economy

  • Serving as a connector between tourism partners and Chamber-led initiatives

Meeting Schedule

The Tourism Committee meets every other month to collaborate on upcoming opportunities and ensure continued alignment on destination marketing efforts.
